A while back when Myxer came out, I wrote a review of it on one of my old blogs and I was just thinking about it the other day.  This website is by far the easiest, most widely-ranged way that I have ever seen that allows you to legitimately customize your cell phone.  And no, it’s not like all the SPAM everyone gets in their inbox promising free ringtones (for $3.99/mo)…    Myxer is legit.

Myxer allows for the customization of just about any cell phone on the market, from any carrier.  They have ringtones from all the hot artists, and even some from lesser known bands…  But the best part about Myxer?  You can customize your own ringtones.  If you have an mp3 that you like, all you need to do is upload it to Myxer and you can edit out the portion that you’d like to be your ringtone.  After that, just send it to your phone and voila!  Instant pimpage.

So go ahead, check out Myxer and get rid of your boring default ringers.

UPDATE:  My brother brought to my attention that Myxer doesn’t necessarily work for all Verizon phones (what a shock) but that this site will make any custom ringtone you like and send it to your phone for free.
